Need some feedback/advice

Thu Jan 1, 2009, 8:50 AM
Kimtopia and I are going to put together a book of the shots of her that we've done. She's got her favorites, I've got mine, but I'd love to know which images of her that others enjoy the most.

If you have time, would you go through my gallery and list the ones that you think are the best works of her? Here's one of her shots so you know which model I am talking about...

Thanks for the help in advance and have a happy new year,

Woah! Thank you for the very kind words! I had seen "Saint Theresa in Ecstasy" years ago in Art Appreciation, but had forgotten it. I can't say whether or not it influenced this shot, the location itself demanded this shot.

I just read your feedback to Kimtopia, and she was very grateful as well! Again, thanks!
Perhaps you remembered the image subliminally. At first I could not place the reason your photograph so entranced me. Then, when I set about describing it, the shards of light and the ecstatic face of the Bernini came to me. Kimtopia has even caught the tilt of Teresa's head and the expression to a T. Odd, isn't it. And wonderful.

Thank you for the joy of art!

That's what makes art worth while to me, when the audience enjoys it! I just can't get her in front of the camera enough!
